Blairgowrie Holiday Park

Access Statement

Our holiday park has Pine Lodges, privately-owned caravan holiday homes as well as holiday hire caravans and touring caravan pitches.

Our Lodges all have access by double patio doors, large wooden verandahs and most models have very spacious interiors. Access to most lodges is by wooden stairs with two, three or four steps, but we do have ramp access to our two-bedroom lodge. Please let us know in advance if you require ramp access, so that we can ensure you are allocated to the appropriate holiday home. All of our lodges have parking alongside.

Our touring pitches are all on level ground and we have step access to our toilet and shower facilities, although they can also be accessed over the grass on the level, but the doors are not wide enough for wheelchair access. All of our touring pitches have parking alongside and if it would be convenient for you to be close to the facilities, please ask at time of booking.

For the safety of our guests, we have a 10mph speed limit throughout the park and clearly marked speed control bumps in several locations on both tarmac and gravel roads.

There is parking close to the reception and the laundry and both have two-step access. There is a bell outside of the reception door for anyone requiring assistance. Our staff will be happy to offer alternative means of assisting you with your requests on or prior to arrival.

Taxi services can be arranged by reception and a regular bus service runs from the park entrance to the centre of the town.

Assistance dogs are welcomed by the park and there is a spacious “dog walk” area on the perimeter of the park for exercising pets. We also welcome dogs in some of our holiday homes, but please check at time of booking as we do reserve some models as “pet-free” for guests with allergies.

Wheelchairs can be arranged for you from the local branch of the British Red Cross, normally for a donation to their funds, but please give plenty of advance notice of your requirements.

A public telephone kiosk is available 24 hours a day and we have a good coverage of all mobile phone networks. We also have resident wardens who are on call overnight in cases of emergency.

Should you need any special assistance at any time during your stay with us, please ask any of our staff and they will do their utmost to help. We would also welcome any comments from you on how we may improve our park to ensure a happy and relaxed holiday for all of our disadvantaged guests.

We appreciate that we do not cater for all of our potential guests with special requirements at Blairgowrie at present. However, we would encourage you to visit our “sister” holiday park at Lomond Woods where we can offer more adapted facilities to suit individual needs.

Our holiday caravans are all centrally heated and double-glazed for all year round holidays and parking is provided alongside all of our models. All of our caravans have two or three steps at the doors.
